A.I.T.Y.H.A.S.I.T.O., is a an interactive installation created by Khatia Esartia in collaboration with students of VA[A]DS, Teo Maspindzelashvili, Nino Khabazi and Nini Berishvili. The installation starts as a prepositioned guide (map) of nails in the wall. Next, a team member invites a visitor to the exhibition to use the plastic ‘tubes’ to create free form structures on the wall, while another team member sketches drawings of the visitor creating artwork on the wall. Rather than the visitor completing their artwork, the final action belongs to a team member. The response of the visitor to that last act is the sought after component of the installation.
